Ready set go.
Sometimes, I pack up and head to PEI to photograph my most precious little clients :) Here are some of my favourites from one of my recent (super sleepy) newborn sessions in PEI!
I am so ridiculously behind in my blogging...so here's a little catch-up post!
I don't think I've ever made it a secret that one of my favourite parts of my job is sessions of growing bellies. I LOVE photographing expecting Mommas. They are glowing, and so full of joy and excitement. I love knowing that in just a few weeks, I'm going to be photographing them again, with a perfect little human in their arms. I love shots where I can see the love between the Momma-and-Daddy-to-be, and knowing that's the kind of love that's going to welcome their Little One into the world. I love shots of a Momma-to-be cradling her belly, already instinctively protecting that precious life inside of her. Here are some of my favourite images from recent maternity sessions. I have THEE most stunning clients! Baby Elle :: Moncton Newborn Photographer
Last month, I took a little trip to PEI for a few shoots. The first of these was sweet miss Elle, who might just be one of the prettiest babes I've ever met, which is not surprising once you see her absolutely gorgeous Momma! I've known Amy since Junior High (which makes me feel very, very old...), and it was so much fun to meet up with her and Geoff to photograph their growing family. Newborn photography is the heart of what I do, and I will never, ever take for granted the awesome privilege my clients are entrusting me with when they choose me to capture these precious moments. Here are some favourites from Elle's newborn session! Baby Gwen :: Moncton Newborn Photographer My gorgeous sister is now the momma to FIVE beautiful babies ("babies" being a relative term here, as the oldest is now nine...). I was so lucky to be able to make it to Fredericton a little after midnight the early morning hours of January 13th, in time to watch sweet baby Gwen, my fourth niece, enter the world! She is very petite and very perfect and can just tell I'm already her favourite Auntie ;) The oldest three siblings were at school during our session, but of course I had to grab a couple shots of Eliza! Baby William :: Moncton Newborn Photographer
I am more behind in my blogging than I've ever been, thanks to an awesomely busy 2016 wedding season, being a stay-at-home-mom to 3 Littles, and a shift-working hubs! As I begin to catch up on my editing, I'm finally able to devote at a very tiny fraction of time to my blog...so I'll begin with this session from...last MAY (yeeeeesh! Just typing it makes me realize how long ago this was!!!!!) of 3-days-new baby William and his beautiful family! This first shot? It remains one of my favourite sibling shots ever! Funny story: I knew I was SLIGHTLY behind in blogging my sessions, but for some reason I thought it was two, maybe 3 sessions behind. So I just went and counted. I am EIGHT sessions behind. Oops. It has been BUSY busy, and when I'm working I'd rather be processing client's sessions than blogging, so I guess that's what happened :) Here's a couple favourite from recent Belly + Baby sessions! {Arthur :: Moncton Newborn Photographer} {Charlie :: PEI Newborn Photographer} {R} Family :: Moncton Maternity Photographer {Baby J :: Moncton Newborn Photographer} You know what's kinda embarrassing? When an almost-due Momma in Moncton contacts you regarding newborn photography, and you have a good ol' chat and set up a tentative date for your newborn session. And then, roughly a week later, you realize you actually went to high school together ;) (A rather small high school, at that…) People get married…and then usually their names change…I cannot be held responsible for my "baby brain" at this point ;) Anyway. I'm so very glad this beautiful family came to see me for Miss Stella's newborn pictures! This sweet girl was 10 days new, and ready to rock n' roll! I always work so hard to get babes nice and sleepy for their pictures…but 90% of the time the awake shots end up being some of my favourites! That dimple!!! No words. Just having some talks with Momma! No big deal :) Bright, backlit sessions with mommas + babies….some of my favourite things! Sigh…these moments. Some of the VERY best of Momma-hood! |
